PRACTICE MATCHES THIS WEEK

The Carrum Downs Junior Football Club is set to host a series of practice matches this week, kicking off with the Under 16s taking the field under the lights this Thursday against the Chelsea Seagulls.

These practice matches are a great opportunity for the players to showcase their skills against other local teams as they prepare for the upcoming season. 

Our Under 16 squad has been impressing at training, with strong numbers and a lot of talent on display with the boys looking to back up an epic performance in the finals last year in the hope they can go that one step further and seal a premiership win this year.

But the action doesn’t stop there! This Sunday, April 14th, the club will host a full day of practice matches, starting with the Under 10s at 9am, followed by the Under 12s at 12pm, and wrapping up with the Under 15s at 1:30pm.  

It’s shaping up to be a fantastic day of football at the Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve.  Supporters are encouraged to come out and cheer on the teams as they fine-tune their skills and get ready for the season ahead.   

To make the day even better, we will have  the club’s canteen open, offering refreshments and snacks for all in attendance.

So head on down to the club and get cheering!  Season 2024 is about to kick off!

Season 2024 Launch

It’s an exciting year ahead for our young players!

The 2024 football season for the Carrum Downs Junior Football Club is anticipated to be an exciting and action-packed period for the young players. As the club gears up for the upcoming season, there is a buzz of enthusiasm and determination among the teams. With a focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, the club is committed to providing a supportive environment for all its members.

 The Frankston & District Junior Football League is responsible for organizing the game fixtures and allocation of grounds, with games generally held at various grounds including Kananook, Bonbeach, Carrum Downs, Carrum/Patterson Lakes, Chelsea, and Seaford.

As the young athletes prepare to take to the field, the community eagerly anticipates a season filled with thrilling matches and memorable moments, and you never know, perhaps a premiership or two!

So come on down to support our teams, and remember if you have young children who love their footy, there is not better place to be than the Carrum Downs Junior Football Club!
